The woman behind the profile
My name is Nanna and I’m 31 years old. I’m a Danish full time traveler with my partner Nicko. I have a master degree in Molecular Biology, but as you can see I have totally changed my direction and focus (it’s never too late to follow your dreams!).
Besides travel I’m a nature and animal lover who loves to stay active and eat chocolate – It’s all about the balance. When we travel we try our best to find the balance between budget and luxury choices.
Nicko and I have been together for almost 10 years (thank you Tinder ;)). We have always prioritized traveling. We did our first longer trip back in 2019 for 5 months.
During covid Nicko got a job in Luxembourg. After a while (6 months) I quit my job in Denmark and moved also to Luxembourg. We enjoyed our time living as expats in Luxembourg. I got a lot of freetime which resulted in the birth of @dailytravelmoment .
In June 2022 Nicko resigned from his job and we started full time travel. For the remainder of 2022 we kept our (too expensive) apartment in Luxembourg and drove around in Europe in our car. We resigned from our apartment in December 2022 and sold all our furniture to pursue the nomadic lifestyle we are living today.
I have visited more than 40 countries and 5 continents: Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and Africa. Nicko and I have been in more than 30 countries together.
